The job of painting Scotland's iconic Forth Bridge, a task that is famously never finished, is about to come to an end – thanks to paint containing NSG Glassflake®.
The bridge's owners report that contractors will leave the world-famous structure in December and it will not need painting again for 25 years.
A team of painters has been applying a triple layer of a new epoxy paint containing NSG Glassflake®. Similar to that used to protect deep-sea oil rigs, a chemical bond produces a virtually impenetrable layer, protecting the bridge's steel frame from the elements.
