Organised by the Steve Prescott Foundation, the awards recognise triumph over adversity, achievement and commitment to the town and NGF Europe was one of three nominations in the Excellence in Business category.
The accolade marks the culmination of a tremendous year which began with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation announced in April.
NGF Europe received a number of nominations for the award, the identities of which are not revealed. Seven high-profile executives from within the town made up the judging panel which sat for five hours deliberating before narrowing the list down to three nominations and casting sealed votes to reveal the winners.
A total of 320 guests attended the evening with the NGFE table comprising representatives from a cross-section of employees.
NGF Europe managing director, Alistair Poole receives the Pride trophy from St Helens Chamber chief executive, Kath Boullen along with employees Nicky Monk and Kerry Wood.
